How Krazy Kat’s Loaded Waters Is Mixing Faith, Flavor, and Energy

When life hands most people lemons, they make lemonade. When life handed Katheryn Schmidt a financial crisis, she prayed, and came out with Krazy Kat’s Loaded Waters, a faith-fueled line of loaded caffeine waters, protein coffees, and protein waters that’s already gaining local buzz.

Schmidt says her business is not only about creative drinks but about a bigger purpose. “I thank God for this whole thing every day,” she explains, pointing to Him as the inspiration behind each product she sells.

The quirky brand name comes with its own backstory. Schmidt explains, “My name in college was Krazy Kat, so it is just a name I have always had. It’s kinda catchy, so I just went with it.”

That lighthearted nickname has now become a recognizable brand across Texarkana, USA, and Hope, Arkansas, showing up on labels, at flea markets, and in storefronts. For Schmidt, the familiarity of the name makes people smile, and that is precisely the point.

Schmidt says the idea for the business came in a season of loss and searching. “It was honestly a God-driven business,” she shares. After losing her second job, she was unsure how to afford her medication. She explains, “I knew that I didn’t want to keep being a CNA. I needed a break. So, I asked God, ‘Show me a way.’”

Out of that prayer, a new business was born. Schmidt was already spending about $10 a day on energy drinks and wanted something healthier and more affordable. She began researching, experimenting, and learning how to work within the Texas Cottage Law. What she developed became Krazy Kat’s Loaded Waters.

“It’s a sealed bag that you mix with 40 ounces of water to make you a loaded energy drink with around 200 milligrams of caffeine,” Schmidt explains. “I also have protein waters and coffee. Each water has a Bible verse—except for the hydration line. Because God created the water!”

Schmidt says customers can easily place orders through Facebook by messaging her directly. Pickup is simple: “We have some pickup locations—the downtown flea market in Hope, Arkansas, Flowers on Richmond, Shorty’s Donuts, and inside Sitters, located at 2010 Moore’s Lane, Suite 111, in Texarkana, Texas. Alternatively, you can text 903-556-9079,” she says.

For those looking for a quick grab-and-go option, Schmidt has even set up a pickup box for convenience. She believes accessibility is key to helping her customers make healthier, more energizing choices.

Plenty of energy drinks line store shelves, but Schmidt says hers are unique. “Mine are made with organic stevia, and I try to stay away from Red Dye 40 if I can,” she explains.

She believes her focus on better ingredients, combined with the faith-based touch of including scripture on the labels, gives her products a heart as well as a boost. “Each drink is meant to give energy,” Schmidt says, “but also a reminder of where my energy comes from.”

When asked about her top sellers, Schmidt lights up. “The Popper, Mermaid Water, Nat’s Special, Boss Babe, and the Unicorn,” she lists off, noting that her customers have favorites just as much as she does.

As for her personal preference, she does not hesitate. “I love most of the Beauty Bombs, protein iced coffee, and I also love the berry caffeine line. That’s my favorite,” Schmidt says with a smile.

Schmidt says she wants Krazy Kat’s Loaded Waters to be more than just a personal business. She hopes to see it in more storefronts, food trucks, and local shops. “If you own a local business, or a food truck, or anything, and would like to have them in your storefront, please contact me,” she says. Interested partners can reach her by email at krazykatsdesigns@gmail.com.

For Schmidt, Krazy Kat’s Loaded Waters is more than a side hustle or a way to make ends meet. It is, as she says, the answer to a prayer. “God is the one behind my whole business,” Schmidt believes, giving Him credit for every step of her journey from job loss to entrepreneurship.

As her brand grows, Schmidt keeps both her faith and her customers at the center of her mission. With delicious flavors, sweetened with organic stevia, and wrapped in encouragement straight from scripture, Krazy Kat’s is making waves—one loaded water at a time.
