Ryan Kate Walker

Ryan Kate Walker believes the Debbie Brower Photography Model Program supports the idea that girls can be both smart and beautiful, two qualities she possesses. Ryan is the daughter of Greg and Jenny Walker and a junior at Texas A&M University – Texarkana (TAMUT). She enjoys reading and hiking for her hobbies and is a tour guide at the university.

Ryan is best described as independent, intelligent, and determined. These qualities allowed her to graduate high school with her associate degree and earn several local scholarships. Today, she is attending TAMUT to earn her nursing degree. She believes this will allow her to help others daily. In five years, she hopes to work in the medical field and continue her education.

“I look up to the example set by Jesus. I try to live my life based on the teachings and values of the Bible,” Ryan says. Her favorite book is “Little Women.” Ryan describes, “It tells the story of resilience and the strength and importance of family.”
