Emma Waddell

Emma is a senior at Redwater High School and the carefree, loving, happy, and easy-going daughter of Amanda Spivey. “I look up to my mother. She is a single mom who has repeatedly shown up for my milestones in life no matter how busy she was. She has shown me that no matter how hard something may seem, I need to go for it anyway. She has shown me that she will be right beside me every step of the way.” Emma says.
Emma enjoys reading, making memories with loved ones, and participating in school activities. She is involved in color guard and band at Redwater High School, even winning titles along the way. “I was part of Redwater High School Band when they placed third overall in the State, and part of the Redwater Color Guard for multiple first-place color guard achievements. All my achievements with the color guard and the band have made me proud while I have attended Redwater High School. However, the one achievement that struck me the most was when the Redwater High School Band went from placing sixth overall to third in the State for 3A bands. I am so incredibly proud of my band and guard family and so happy to have been able to compete with them,” Emma says.
In five years, Emma sees herself graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and starting medical school to become a psychiatrist. “I want to help as many people as possible to feel more comfortable with themselves. This is my dream job!” Emma says.
“I want to thank Debbie for being such a sweet and incredible woman,” Emma says. “I first got interested in working with Debbie to take my senior photos. But when I went to my first photoshoot, she was incredibly sweet and taught me many amazing things about modeling.”
